Russian born Irine Fokine is a member of an illustrious
ballet family. Niece of Michael Fokine, daughter of Alexandra Fedorova, Ms. Fokine made ballet her life. After coming to the
United States, she danced with the Michael Fokine Ballet company, Radio City Music Hall, U.S.O., numerous Opera Companies
and Concert Tours. Also a mother of four, she opened her studio in Ridgewood, New Jersey, establishing The Irine Fokine Ballet
Company in 1957 and produced The Nutcracker for 45 consecutive years. A prolific choreographer, Irine Fokine has created more than 40 original ballets. Her choreography
was performed in Columbia and Venezuela, Hamburg and Heilbron, Germany and Lodz, Poland. She was also one of the choreographers
for "Pavlova Celebration" that toured the United States. After celebrating the studio's 50th anniversary Irine
Fokine said: " I hope the next 50 years will be just as successful." Miss Fokine is presently teaching most of the Advanced Ballet classes.
